These things are hard to describe. At the same time it is hard to get a picture of them, but here is what I am trying to figure out:

Over the last 6 months or so I have noticed small worms on the snad bed and rocks. These are quite small... the best way I can describe them are:

Width: About the width of a sharp pencil line.
Lengh: Generally about an inch or so
Color: Light green... kind of icebergh lettuce color. They also have small black bands on them.
Texture: Smooth. Definitely dont look like a Bristle Worm
Movement: They seem to stay in one place for the most part, but move thier bodies around. They do move a bit though.

They do not seem to cause problems, although there is getting to be more and more of them. Whne I vacuum the sand bed, some seem to group together in large numbers, and I can easily remove them.

I was just wondering if this sounds familiar to anyone. If they are not good I would like to find a natural way to decline the population. Thanks in advance for your help!!

Sounds very much like a Sipunculan or Peanut worm. They are non-segmented worms that have bands of differing color as you describe.

They are in the HHFAQ....
