recently dad bought a disc coral, at first thought it was torch coral but now think its probably a disc or plate coral of the fungia type as its quite round and plate like.
Heard that course substrate may damage the tentacles....question is would a plastic sheet placed under the coral be a good preventive measure for short term, until I get some fine sand , or would it cause even more havoc ?
