It took me a while to get a pic of this guy. He moves like a snail, eats on the rocks like a snail. I think he's a snail. His coloration is perfect camo in my tank. His shell, which is relatively small for his body mass, is corraline pink colored and mottled, and his body is green like the rock substrate. Any thoughts on who this guy is? I'm guessing he's been in the tank 2 months. In this picture, he is heading away from the camera. You can see his two antenae. His body extends all the way up to the right where the corraline is. He's about 2 cm stretched out in real life.

Stomatella varia...interesting how pink his shell is. You must have good coralline algae growth.

yep stomatella. the pink is indeed coraline algae growth. the stomatella sp. snaisl are harmless green algae grazers.

Thanks folks! I'm glad he's harmless, he's fun to see, rarely, motoring around on the rock, doing laps on the turbos.
