Hi, wonder if anyone can help.
I have a soft coral, some type of leather.
It fully extends its polyps in the day and retracts them at night.
Its brown in colour, or tannish.
its some kind of finger coral as it has a lot of finger like protrusions.
I think its a type of sinularia.
Anyway here is the problem.
when I first got it I notice a whitish patch under one of the fingers.
this white patch is making the skin of the coral flaky. I tried removing those flaky thing but they seem to be quite hard and well attached to the coral itself.
anyone knows what it is as it seems to be spreading.
the coral itself is fine though in terms of polyps extension.
Many thanks
