Where to get crushed coral in the new york metro area?

just wondering if anyone knows where to get crushed oyster shell in the local new york metro area.. found some sites that sell a 5lb bag fairly cheap, $4.97, but the shipping kills it... If I can pick it up at a local store, guess farm feed or something, would be cheaper.. thinking of making my own live rock... gotta do my part to preserve the wild.. Thanks!

Last, have you considered using aragonite sand as opposed to crushed oyster shells for your synthetic rock? Check out GARF's website (IMO, horrible layout, but interesting info).

Yeah, i thought about aragonite.. but crushed oyster shells seems to a be whole lot cheaper.. that is, if i can find a local place to pick it up from.. but thanks for the welcome.
