DOubt you can. However there is this little miracle called "joes Juice" that wont kill anything but aptasia or majano. Well it might kill some other things but the have to be forcefully feed it. I have sprayed aptasia near shrimp, sea squirts, xenia, snails, conches, fish, and hermits and the only things that died are the aptasia. It works trust me

Maybe I'm an idiot for having done this, but I have used an insulin syringe to inject kalk into aiptasia. I have used it in the middle of zoos, on SPS, and anywhere else that I have found them with no ill effects. Just inject it directly into them and if there is any that settles on something lse, just blow it off. I have yet to have to inject the same one twice.

check out the hitch hiker faq at the top of the hitchhiker forum. Aiptasia sp. are a type of anenome that frequently comes in on liverock, or pretty much anything else that you put in the tank. left unchecked, they will replicate like rabbits on ecstasy.

CinChriste, See the pic above? Aiptasia anemone is the one right speck in the middle of the pic. You should be able to tell the differences of that anemone from the surrounding.

It's a pest anemone that spreads quickly.
