Going to say it's either some kind of corynactis or maybe a cladocora coral? I seem to remember most are non-photosynthetic.

The clam  ? Turkey wing, maybe? The coral looks like Phyllangia americana or Cladacora something-or-other-a. The coral is likely Phyllangia, as Cladacora is a branching tube-like coral, whereas Phyllangia is solitary (hence, 'solitary cup coral.') This is your second-hand TBS rock, (or rather, clam), right?

Phyllangia is non-photosynthetic. Cladacora isn't extensively described in Borneman's book, because it's a hitchhiker, and not collected for its own sake.

p.s. Yea!! I managed to beat John Brandt to an ID!
