In my personal opinion, the only safe crab is a porcelain crab, as those are filter feeders, and unable to scavenge or hunt.

You can tell porcelain crabs from others by counting legs. Porcelain crabs have 3 sets of legs behind the big claws; all other crabs have 4 sets behind the big claws.

This crab has 4 behind, so it's a potential picker-on-things.

Looks very much like a small version of stone crabs (as in stone crab claws).

I like all crabs and am unwilling to killing them or telling other people to do the same, just put them in the sump or something hehe. : )
