Wiggler

Active Reefer
After posting my little bit about the organisms in my rock which I belive to be apstasias (sp).

I found a critter walking up the side of my tank.. almost as if he was trying to get out.

On dry land the closest thing I can come up with to describe it is a cross between a silverfish and a centepede.

Long antennae in the front, a kinda pear shaped body with lots of legs.. not more than 1/4 inch long and white/greyish.

I've been through the FAQ's etc and didn't find anything that resembled it.. I did however try to take pictures and of course have not yet mastered how to take pics via glass or water.

Sounds like some sort of *pod to me, where * is {amphi/cope/iso}. Harmless critter, good detritivore.

If you're using a digital camera, you may need to put a piece of paper or other object next to the tank to focus on, then, using focus lock, point to your critter and snap the photo.

If you hunt past postings on here, someone here had a great photo of an amphipod within the past couple of weeks.
