Mystery mollusc

I saw this mollusc on my glass this morning. It looks like a plain keyhole limpet wearing an orange cape! (Bat-Limpet, the caped crusader??? 8) )

Do limpets wear capes?

Any ID's out there, please? Again, a common name is sufficient.

For scale purposes, maybe a bit over 1" overall length...

It is a limpet. The most common common name would be "Shield Limpet", but I like to call them "Skirted Limpet". I've seen this orange one as well as black ones.

I think it's a Scutus sp.
