Anyone know what species? Have I just discovered something new? Someone mentioned Calcinus minutus on another board. It could be but doesn't have the orange tips on all legs.

Good guess Kai-Wei. But it has black eyes so maybe not. It came with a shipment of blue legged ones. I wonder if there are many more of this type in the ocean. If not, you could be right, its an albino blue legged crab.

I don't think it's an albino since i see an orange band around its leg and it has black eyes. Never seen a crab like that. Although...that orange band could mean it's some scientific experiment gone wrong!!!! We won't be invaded by dinosaurs-we'll be overrun by hermit crabs! 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O .

Just a thought...AAHHHHH, MY LEG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
