New Reefer
icky.JPG

I've got four of them running around so far.

Tank will be 4 weeks old on Monday and these just appeared on last Monday.

Funny thing, I started dosing with Iodine, Stronium/Molynebdum and Calcium onSaturday.......go figure?

Thanks for any help with ID. I can try to get a top picture if needed.

A flatworm for SURE, what species, I don't know. My advice is to get rid of them, ASAP, just because of what I've seen (at the Birch) and been reading of late. Just my opinion.

yeah, definitely a flatworm, though they are usually more orange in color, I would try my best to get rid of them, several options:

1) since you have few of them (right?) manually suck them up with a siphon, and then add new water

2) Mandarin Goby (nice fish anyway!! either variety will eat these in addition to your isopods/amphipods, unfortunately)

3) 6-line wrasse (never had one, supposedly eat lots of these little buggers!)

4) supposedly some sort of chemical treatment, have heard BAD THINGS ABOUT THIS!!! I would NOT RECOMMEND!!
