Please tell me this anemone is a gift and not bad

can anyone tell what this is......some people told me by my description that it is a Mojano(did I spell that right?)

Looks a lot like one I have only darker. I have had mine over a year and it hasn't split off into hundreds or been any kind of problem.

Looking at the picture, I think it looks most like a zooanthid polyp or a mushroom coral. The only such animal that are known to be pests are the ever infamous Aiptasia's, which this is not. So, I think you're fine. If it does split and reproduce, it could start a nice little colony.
