Hoping this is not majano or colonial aiptasia cuz the ends are rounded and the center is the only green coloring......

I'm pretty sure that's neither majano nor aiptasia. Typically, they don't have white tips like that. I would watch it close and see if it reproduces.

investigator may be right-it does look alot like a baby torch-there appears to be a light colored mass at the base visible through the tissue that may be skeletal 'septae' (?)

and fwiw-neither majano, or aptasia, are 'colonial' anemones-they do not have connective tissue between individual polyps :wink:

ok guys to give a better description the "creature" shrinks and grows the shaft and tentacles.....when "shrunken" it has a green hue in the center. It never moves and the tentacles are around the perimeter.
