These two anemone looking things appeared on my live rock this past month. The rock they are growing on has been in the tank over 18 months. The last thing I added to my tank was a small mushroom rock over 6 months ago.
They are about 1 inch in diameter including what I consider to be tentacles. The tentacles are transparent with white bulbs on the tips.
The pink interior disk is about 1/2 of an inch and in the center is a raised, white, marquise shape.
Doesn't really look like any picture of aiptasia I've ever seen, and I'm curious if this is something that needs to be disposed of asap.
