I guess you could call the sun coral the hitchhiker but the clam was definately an added bonus.
I believe it is a filter feeder, it never opens more than maybe 1/2 inch.
It is about the size of my fist.

Clamus unknownus. Since it's obviously not a Tridacnid, that pretty much makes it a filter feeder, of which there are thousands out there. You likely won't get a good ID without removing the clam from your tank, and taking pictures of the hinge area, too.
