A bubble inside of bubble ?

On my sand, i just found that :

like an egg, it seems to have a bubble inside a protective bubble. It is about 0.5 inch wide and very light.

I am really wondering what it can be 8O .

Looks like a snail egg case - Nassarius and conchs have packets that look like this. They are usually less than 1/8" across.

Well whatever it is, by the fact that it is in your tank means that there is probably parents in the tank too. If they have not caused problems in the tank, chances are their babies won't either. (knock on wood)
