I've read through the hitchhiker faq, i've asked on #reefs, and I've asked at nano-reef.com, but so far nobody has been able to help at all.

I'm going crazy trying to figure out what the weird thing in my liverock is http://reefs.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=15079
I know my picture is not very good, but it will blur no matter what I do because of the way the glass warps your view when you try to look through at a big angle.
Is there any other webpages or any place at all I can go for info IDing it? Right know I don't even know if it's a worm or a crustacean, filter feeder or predator.

Pull the rock out of the tank and take the picture. While you have it out of the tank you can take a better look at it.

Appears on a glance to be either a crab or a brittle star. I imagine that since its still in the hole, it would be a crab of some sort. But, why not pull it out and see?

I'm afraid to hurt it, I know that hermit crabs will let themselves be torn in two rather than letting go of their shells.

Dr. Ron at reefcentral also thought it was a crab...I think he said dromeid crabs are known to occupy clam shells. I'll let you know if I get a better picture or if i ever see it leave its spot

Looks almost like a "Shame Faced" crab- and that is how they got their name-they hide behind their two big front claws. FWIW, HTH.
