Powder Brown ILL, please help!

My Powder Brown Tang has the classic symptoms of disease (scratching and swimming around like a madman). He has a 6mm round red spot on the side of his body and a few lightish brown spots (about 3mm)on both sides of his body. I have only had him for a few weeks. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. I have a 10G tank I can setup as a quarantine, but I need to know what to treat with and what it is if possible. Copper I assume, but are some brands better than others?

Sorry I can't help, don't know much about fish diseases. But be sure to tell them how big your tank is, how long you've had it and all the parameters. And what other fish are in your tank.
