Tube Worms Thingys

Since I cannot take a picture of them cause on my camera you wouldn't be able to see them I will describe them. They look like long tube feet from an urchin, they are blueish colored and wrap around all of the rocks (not at the same time) I see them reaching off of the rocks sometimes but they soon re-attach, they also seem to carry dark matter down the tubes into the rock. I have had them about for around 8 months they have never seemed to cause a problem but I would like to know more about them, any help will be greatly appreciated.

If your spaghetti worms are carrying dark matter down the tubes into the rock then you need to take your tank to NASA so they can study the regenerative properties of dark matter

Update: The worms have crawled out of the tank and bored into my brain, I'll keep you posted.
