I am planning on setting up a small 2.5 gallon fish tank and i would like to know which salt water fish i can put in there or if any. I am also looking to add some LR and Zoos nothing else. Anyone have any suggestions? And also how much watts would be enough of lighting for the coral? Thanks.

they sell these tiny PC fixtures 9W or a fuge light (PC) would work.

and yeah 1 fish max in there. Watch your waste buildup when your filling it with coral and keep ontop of the water changes. Clown goby or a neon or something is about all you can keep.

I think i will go with the Coralife one I really like it. Thanks everyone with the advice.

Hey where is your pic. Iwanna compare the coralife to my LED @ 4.6-4.8w with dimmer. (Upgraded to 4.956W June 02 07)
I know I need more light but used up all the white ones. Thinking of pushing up to 10W.

Note the white dots on the surface-that's how condense the beams are.

Here are how they look under only white LED

Pico reef !!

Don't know if this is any help but heres one of my picos
that has a coralife aqualight Mini w/9w 50/50 + 9w 10k pc, You can make a nice little hood for the 2.5g with small pc units. As far as maint. there is a guy on nano reef.com that created a tool called the nimble works like a mag float but not an eye sore. I have a bunch of pico, nano & deco tanks they are alot of fun You can make them in almost anything like wine jugs,
iced tea pitchers, The real hot ones are the rimless cubes !!

Al
Heres a couple of pics with coralife mini & A custom stand/Hood for my 2.5 the hood has 13w 50/50 + 13w 10k, 4 comp. cooling fans + 5 light LED bar (added since pic), high grade reflector. Hope this gives You some more to work with any questions please ask !!

I really like your hood that looks really great. After i sell my 35 gallon i will work my 2.5. I really dont want 5 tanks in the apartment if you know what i mean. But the tank looks real great. Do you have any fish in it cause i really didnt see any.
