Hello MR!
I have noticed this guy a couple of times now at night, but I was finally quick enough to take a picture of him before he slithered into a rock. I have never seen the front of him. I can tell you that he is about two inches long, an inch wide and I believe that I would have noticed if he has been snacking on my corals, which all seem to be just fine, since my tank is so small. Also, not sure if it is a coincidence, but a couple of my inverts have disappeared.
My apologies for picture clarity. Any ideas? If he is not safe, can anyone give him a home if I can safely remove him?

Thank you Widdy and Tentacles...

Looks like he is a Polyclad flatworm.
He has to go. He is probably the reason why my glass is no longer covered with Colonista snails at night. I have also noticed that all my Stomatellas have disappeared :(

It was suggested that I use a silverside in a container to trap him. Going to be tough to place a container, even a small one, in this tank.. Other suggestions welcome.
Oh, one more thing... What do I do with him once he is captured??? I'd prefer to not have to destroy him.

He definitely has to go and small to zero chance anyone would want him unless he was in a jar of formaldehyde :(

Maybe try a baby food jar for the trap? :)

Well this guy is messing with the wrong reefer, lol.
This is what I have going on right now.
I used an epoxy tube and tied a piece of fishing line around the center hole. Then I used a drill bit, a nail clipper and a file to make the semi-circle opening. It's hard to see from this pic, but the tube is actually about 4 inches long. I stuffed a half piece of table shrimp in there way in the back. My poor Nassarius snail was sticking his little snorkel in, but thankfully his shell was too big.
Now I sit and I wait. My 22 years of Trap Neuter Release (TNR) skills are coming in handy right now: Patience patience patience.

Good job D, I was thinking baby food jar as well but the epoxy one seemed to do the trick. Good thinking lol we can be very crafty when put in a tough situation. I don't know how many times I need to rig something and I go into some pile of junk and start creating something haha. Now just be on the lookout for more. Hopefully he was the only one.
