EBay RODI?

Hey everyone has anybody ever tried the RODI systems sold on ebay? I found a seller that's sells 100gpd 5 stage systems for $100.00. Feedback rating very high with over 375 units sold. Should I go ahead and make the purchase ?

I use there 400 GPd unit. It's works fine. The only thing I did was switch the canisters to clear ones so I can see when it's time to change the filters. They sell a regular RODI setup with a dow filmtec membrane like everyone else.

I got one from eBay (pure water club) no issues whatsoever
you gonna have to change the flow restrictor to a 800 because the one it comes with the unit from purewaterclub is 450

Son of a gun, the one thing I did not buy from Ebay and never thought about buying.

This ebay store sells units for the cost of all my filters and membrane.

Thanks for posting this, will buy a 150gpd unit instead of new filters

I'm actually due to change my filters in my pure water club unit. The only thing is its $75 for the new filter set when i can spend another $25 and buy a whole new unit. Would certainly recommend these units though

Pure water club is pretty good.

Ditto . I've used their 4 stage rodi unit for a year+ and recently I purchased a DTS meter along with their replacement filter just to make sure I get 0 ppm. So far so good

Read the negative reviews and ask yourself if you are feeling lucky(yes many are having success with it). I personally wouldnt want to buy additional parts like the clear canisters, pressure gauge, tds meter, and what ever other stuff you think you might need. I have one from BRS, 0ppm water production (used hanna handheld tds meter to compare with one that comes on the unit). If you price those add-ons you might be paying the same price as for one from BRS.

Another one that sells a good one is Filter Direct on ebay. I have a 6 stage unit from them since last July, nice units and great pricing too

I got my 6 stage ro from filter direct. It's over 8yr old no issues, works like a charm all the time.
