Hi All

Not sure where the leak is yet. It's a 65 on a pine stand with a 30 gal sump underneath. Been up for 3 years now. Water is slowly but steadily coming out the bottom left of the stand. I can see the pine surface that the sump sits on is warped...can almost poke my finger between it and the bottom on one side...it's fine on the other side.

I've shut off my skimmer thinking it might be the culprit (doubtful) and wiped up the water to see if the leak keeps coming. Doesn't really matter what the issue is as the surface the sump is on is warped and wet.

Hoping it will be slow enough that I can wait until the weekend and not burn personal days.

Anyway...any suggestions for where I can get the best deal on a new tank and stand in Nassau County? I'm in Bethpage (11714) but willing to maybe go into Suffolk a ways if the deal is good.

In a rush...any suggestions appreciated.

May consider a used tank/stand if someone has one out there in great condition.

Thanks :/

Firstly thanks to everyone for the suggestion. Looks like I'll be checking Aquarium Village first.

Turns out it wasn't the tank or sump...what had happened was that the return from my skimmer was so caked in algae that the water was being "diverted" over the sides of the return ramp and not entirely back into the sump. Easy to fix but now the bottom of my pine cabinet is warped and the sump isn't resting completely flat on one side. Also unsure of how much that soaking has compromised the entire stand.

I've wanted to eventually take this and my Cube down and go with 1 larger tank...90-120 but was going to wait another year maybe. If I'm going through all the work of breaking down this 3 year reef ...which will take hours and hours of course...I might as well take advantages of the tragedy and replace the whole shabang...not just the stand.

Of course this will depend on the deal I can get for a 90-120 gallon RR tank and stand.

Aquarium Village rocks! Thanks for the advice. Got a very fair price on a 90 gallon with nice stand, lights, etc.

I remember that I had been in there before in the past but they're under new management now. That's a crack staff over there. My new fav LFS near home!
