Also have 2 MJ600's with the SeaFlow mod - $20 each or both for $30

They're reef safe but like with most wrasse or hog they may attack small shrimp or hermits, especially when they get larger, and they do get to be a nice size.

I have a large one for quite some time and he doesn't bother my shrimp or hermits but he does goes after my Stomatella snails. Anytime I try and place one in the tank he eats it. In the past he has eaten my Flatworms too.

A pretty reef safe fish, and a good addition, one that I wouldn't worry to much about. Good deal for $25.

From MarineCenter.com:

A super popular and perfect reef aquarium fish, the average size of the Candy Hog is only about 2", maximum size in nature is around 4". May eat very small shrimps, etc, but it is otherwise reef safe. Generally a relatively peaceful community fish, but may bother exceptionally docile, similarly shaped fishes such as Firefish or Flasher Wrasses. Virtually unknown to trade until the late 90's, the Candy Hog has become a tremendously popular reef aquarium fish.

I know from first hand experience, They ate my neon blue cleaner goby, trimma goby, and harassed my snails and hermits even though they weren't large. I tore apart my tank to get a hold of them. I don't care what anyone else says but I would not recommend them as reef safe.
