Has it had all the recalles done like the ECU reprograming suspension weld on the vehicle there a list of recalles on that car. most likely not its still under warranty so there not doing nothing untill the car has a problem. And are you the owner or the bank still owns the car and the money you want it to pay it off.

I have never been notified by Nissan for recalls; and have no problems with the car drive either.

Nissan FS still owns the car as there is still about 10k to pay off. The sale price will be used to paid all at once, and the title will be mailed right away once paid off.

I am currently looking for a used altima...But serious your car is almost 3 yrs old. NO one pays MSRP especially now a days or an educated consumer will almost pay $100 over dealer cost. Not to long at our local Nissan dealer they were taking $5000 off the top of a brand new Altima. Its sound like you still owe on that Nissan and you must be upside down on it. Meaning you owe more than its worth.
I just looked on ebay about $17K to buy a used 2009..I was in the car business for nearly 15 yrs in California...post it on the internet sale by owner, ebay or other car places. This is the wrong place to sell a car that much....Good luck with your sale.

A. NO one pays MSRP especially now a days or an educated consumer will almost pay $100 over dealer cost.

B. Not to long at our local Nissan dealer they were taking $5000 off the top of a brand new Altima.

C. Its sound like you still owe on that Nissan and you must be upside down on it. Meaning you owe more than its worth.

D. I just looked on ebay about $17K to buy a used 2009..

E. I was in the car business for nearly 15 yrs in California....

FWIW, the 'asking' price is a 'little' high, BUT he said NEGOTIABLE!

A. Really...no one is paying MSRP for economy cars...NOW?
YOU wish you could pay $100 over dealer 'cost'...what is the 'final' price?...the average new car profit is over $2000 per car... even MORE on used cars!

B.
They may have PREVIOUSLY discounted $5000 off Altimas...but that was before the earthquake in Japan and $4 gal. gas... 'economy' car prices are going UP, every day, for the past few weeks!

C. He said he owed about $10000 to the bank... how is that 'upside down'?

D.
Would you really buy a $17000 car on ebay? Does it have 7000 miles?

E. Apparently you did not work in the finance dept, for 15 years...?

Unless you sell your car for some crazy low price,it just does not happen. My car that I'm trying to private sell right now would sell at a dealership for 18-20g. Trade in I was only offered 12! I'm trying to private sell it for 15 and still no biters after 3 months of trying to sell it. It sucks and no matter what, your going to lose money.... Just like I will
