I have a 55 gallon glass tank with the following
1. 130 lbs LR
2. 40 lbs LS
3. Modified Sea clone skimmer
4. Emporer power filter used for circulation and occasional use of activated carbon
5. 2 Maxima 1200 power heads rated at 295 gallons per hour and placed at the surface of tank one on each end.
6. currently using 2-55 watt power compacts actinic blue and one 40 watt 20,000 k on 10 hours per day
I have had the tank set up for about a year now and has been moved 1000 miles once and that was aprox 5 months ago. I recently added several hard corals 2-plates one modern brain one open brain and a couple of zooanthid covered rocks and a pom pom xenia. also a couple of leather corals,sun polyps etc.
