customaquatic RK2 pump.Anyone use these

Need info on this brand of pump.I think century makes the pump.Customaquatics sells them.

The RK2 pumps are great. They are VERY STRONG and very expensive as well.

You can go to www.rk2.com, they do not have any info on the web but you can call them up.

I use 6 of then in my 1200 gallon tank.

How many gph are they?

6 pumps seems like a LOT.
I am planning on using 3 pumps on my 1000 gallon system.
2 dolphin 5600s and 1 dolphin 3600 feeding a 60 gallon carlson surge device.

I hope those RK2s are only 2000-3000gph or else I am way underestimating my water flow needs.

The smallest RK2's are 1/4 HP and rated at
~35GPM (depending on the head)

I have 6X 1/4 HP, 1X 1/2 HP 1X 1HP all together is around 20K GPH.

Don't ask about the electic bill.

As for the pumps they worth it.
