so on friday I decided to set up a 40 breeder to hold me over till the big tank is up and running
setup is
perfecto 40 breeder
glass holes overflow kit
3/4" line loc return kit
black pine stand
20l sump
rio 10hf pump
200w heater
vortec mp40w
current usa nova extreme pro 6x39w (stock bulb)
70lbs of live rock
30lbs of aragonite sand
10lbs of sand in the fuge
macro algae in the fuge

you put a mp40 on a 40 breeded, that is going to be the tank of swells in the ocean wow, I would love to see that thing going on a 40. I have a 40 and I am getting a mp10

You should have drilled the return in the middle of the tank.

the mp40 on a 40 i figured go big or go home can always turn it down i have it at about 50% on yellow i think its reef crest

I just added my pm10 on yestarday and it is amazing. I get wonderful waves in the tank and it looks clean.
