Nice tank... looks like you got good oxygenated water flow. I am sure all your critters appreciate that. And they all appear healthy. Now just keep it up and put those high budget big volume tanks to the test

I thought I saw a clam in your 2nd pic.. Is this true or did your crabs get him?

im really not sure what got my clam..might..i saw a nassarius snail in it though..i moved it and the snail went right back..im not 100% sure if the snail was only eating the clam cuz it was dying or it was predating on it?? who knows needless to say i have neither now...

A Nassarius snail is a dentrivore / Scavanger only. They are not predatory like your crabs. I would assume he was only doing his job of eating detritus (in your case: decaying clam flesh from an already dead clam) when you caught him in the shell.

Very Nice L.N. I like your simplistic approach and variety of livestock,I just finished tying 2 10gallon tank together into 1 continous loop.I will be stocking both soon and will post pic's its nice to be able to start another system now that my 110 gallon display tank is runnin smooth and less demanding(knock on wood) nice job!COOL!!!!!!!!!

Catalina isnt a cold water species..it is a pacific species...actually you can catch them off the coasts of Southern California...

I sure thought Catalina gobies were cold water species. I thought the catalina islands were cold water
