Set Up Date : 11/99 all inhabitants from my previous 29 gal moved to this tank.

Tank Size (LxHxW | Volume):
48 x 28 x 28. ~165gal
Sump Size (LxHxW | Volume): 36 x 12 x 16. 30gal

Live Rock (Mass): ~125lbs of Fiji, FL, Brazilian and Tonga

Live Sand (Mass): 4in bed. No plenum

Lighting (Type | Wattage | Photoperiod): Deluxe Aluminum Hood with two 250watt Iwasaki on Ice Caps Ballasts.

Protein Skimmer (Brand | Model): ETS 600 with Iwaki MD40

Biological Filtration (Type): Live Sand, Live Rock

Chemical Filtration (Type): Carbon every now and then, no exact regiment.

Circulation (Rate | Brand | Model): 4 Maxijet 1200 on WaveMaster Pro wavemaker

Return Pump (Rate | Brand | Model): rated 1080gph at 4 ft, Mak 4 for return from sump

pH (Morning | Evening): 8.2, 8.4 (Salifert)

Temperature (Range | oC | oF): 79-80 (Aqualogic controller). Aqualogic 1/4hp flow through chiller with Aqualogic contoller for cooling, EbboJagger 250watt heater, 4" fans at either ends of canopy.

1.0025 (SeaTest Hydrometer)
Alkalinity (meq/l | dKH): 3.5 meq/l (Salifert)

Calcium (ppm): ~480ppm (Salifert)

Ammonia (ppm): 0ppm (FastTest)

Nitrite (ppm): 0ppm (FastTest)

Nitrate (ppm): 0ppm (Salifert, Aquamarine)

Phosphate (ppm): ?ppm, no hair algea

Fish : 4 perculas (2 mated), yellow tang, flamehawk, pygmy angel, more to come.

Corals : too many to list, sps, soft, some lps.

Invertebrates : 100+ blue legs (collected nearby), 500+ cerith snails (coned shaped) that have reproduced like mad.

Maintenance Program : Still haven't changed the water since first set-up, but nothing to brag about, just been lazy. Empty gallon jug from protein skimer every wk. Wipe off diatom from off the glass w/ magnet q/3days.

Additional Information : StarFire Glass, costume-made tank, 3-sided viewable, Live Rock is elevated from sand with Toga Branch Live Rock. DIY Calcium Reactor.
