If you can move the rock closer to the bottom go for it.

Is everyone sure that is bubble algae? Looks like Grape Caulerpa to me...

BTW, The tank is looking good Alex!

Thanks Dom ! I'm pretty sure it WAS bubble algae...my emerald crabs pretty much took care of it ! :)

I'm putting back my other light for now - 192W is plenty for my 30 gal, I'm thinking that 384W is waaay overkill for low light corals....

Alex, The 384w are fine. You just have to acclimate the livestock to it. You can do this by cutting down your lighting period and slowly building it up. My favorite way tho is the screen method. It's where you take several screens and put them over the tank. Over a period of time you move one piece at a time. Do a search you'll come with a ton of info.

Thanks for the info Steven, I really am going to get rid of it though - it covers the entire top of my tank making maintenence a real pain, not to mention I have halides for my bigger tank.....I really don't have any use for 384W with what I have in my tank now...

I thought you were going to use the new PC light on your 58g. BTW you can slide the light back and do your regular maintenance.
