I just recently had my JBJ 45RL glass burst on the front corner draining all the water in less than 5 min, I was able to save all of my fish but not the corals.

I was devastated and frustrated since I'd really invested a lot of time, money and effort on this tank so I decided to just quit this hobby and ended selling most of my livestock and equipment.

Well, long story short, I could not help myself stay away from this hobby and ended up making a comeback. I always wanted to go bigger so this was the right time to pull the trigger.

Red Sea Reefer 350 journey begins

Received the tank today and let me tell you, I was amazed how well this system is built for the price. Tank is beautiful and the stand feels solid.

The rest of the equipment should be here within this week. These are what I selected for this new build.

Return Pump: Ecotech Vectra M1
PowerHead: Ecotech MP40WQD
Lighting: Ecotech XR30W G3 Pro X2
Controller: Ecotech Reeflink
Skimmer: Vertex Omega150
Reactors: Aquamaxx Standard X2
Plumming: All black/grey sch80 fittings and black pvc pipes with 3 manifold gate valve

More pictures to be followed :)

I got a lot done this weekend.
Curing Pukani dry rock to remove phosphate
Cycling my QT tank
Got my Vertex Omega150
Got one of my Aquamaxx reactors, need to wait until Monday for the next one to arrive so that I can finish my plumbing
worked on my cables and the right side of the cabinet and added a motion sensor led light

Thanks guys! Just cycling the tank atm and also dealing with phosphate released by those pukani rocks using phosguard on one of my reactors.
Also treating the fishes with coppersafe for a month prior to introducing them to the system

Loving the set up!. I have been thinking about eventually going to hard plumbing from the return pump. I just have to many pumps down there. The skimmer, calcium reactor, gfo and biopellets. May I ask what are the plumbing pieces you bought to assemble it. I am not an expert when it comes to hard plumbing. Thanks

You really only need 2 or 3 1/2" gate valves on a manifold. Rest is just pipes matching your drain and return bulkhead size along with fittings
BTW, this is my first time hard plumbing lol
