Aloha's Frogfish Cube

big up to kris (nanoreefer) for hooking it up with a sweet 7.5 gal cube! it sits next to my solana cube so i kind of like the dynamic of these geometric shapes side by side.

i need a better light to match my LEDs on the solana this pc light is wack

picked up a beautiful red painted frogfish from MA this past weekend. very excited to feed him on wednesday. i decided to name him LUCIFER :sgrin:

This makes me want to set up a satellite tank for the same thing.

In the ocean I have seen plenty of these, you have to look really hard as they look like sponge. They love to crawl all over live rock, so I would add as much vertical as you can.
Can you hook this into your other tank so you can get better filtration and skimming?

thanks! but i don't think the tank is acrylic. can anybody offer some advice on plumbing it to the solana without drilling??

If the cube were acrylic you could just drill in a bulkhead fitting for a drain.
Use a small pump to supply water from your solana and it will drain back.

Make sure the fish doesnt try to get into the other tank though.

Hey guarda, sorry havent had time to go on mr for a while. Lucifer's doing good....just did a little renovation to his studio apt. Got a new par bulb from wingo and some dragons breath algae from kenny at POTO.
