i run as basic of a sump as ya can and get no bubbles in my return, only 2 baffles in the sump

Well i spoke to the dad tonite and i asked him if he could build my stand he said yes and asked me for the layout and dimensions

I figured i would do 38"x38"x4' (inside of stand would be 38"x38") so i could fit a 36" long sump inside the stand. Along with a 10 gallon water resevoir along side of it. So this is all gonna be pappa scoots on this stand i cant take credit for it only the design lol.

Updated and decided not to do a hood and leave the top open. Going to make a support out of 1" emt pipe to hang the lights.

another quick question guys as all of you know im getting the 60 gallon cube i was getting 1 AI SOL BLUE led but i was thinking am i better off getting 2 or will one be bright enough to light the tank and not give me any dark spots. thanks guys

hey guys i had to make the stand smaller i kind of realized that this stand was gonna be huge so im gonna go with a 24x24x4 stand which means i have to make my sump smaller which is at the moment 24" long can you guys let me know if this will work out with the dimensions i have on the sump layout. the skimmer needs 12" according to users and according to the site it requires 12.5"

i got 13.9" diagonal for the skimmer section hmmmm...

foot print dimensions of the skimmer is 12.5" x 8.5".
you might have to make the fuge smaller,and just keep chaeto, or go with a cube tank, say 20x20, and partition it.

this is a 15 cube I designed and in the final stages of finishing for another member here, just to give you an idea.

how about i get rid of the partition from the drain and make the skimmer drain on section and make the fuge a little smaller

That would be the only option you have. or make a display fuge next to the tank on another stand.

ok hopefully this will work cause im out of ideas :lol2: and i need to fit this and a 10 gallon top off tank next to it inside the stand. making the stand 24 x 24 x 4

I don't think you still have enough room for the skimmer, its 12.5x 8.5 your tank dimension is only 12"., you can try a sock holder and get rid of that first baffle, on the left.
