If they haven't changed the pump the metal shaft to the propeller will break in about 3 months. From what I have read, nano cube has a pretty bad rap. Mine went to the dumpster after 2 years.
The lights in mine corroded really bad. Heat was a big problem in the summer. I had to keep the lid...
I am surprised that you have had it this long. Wish I could help but I lost two and was told not to buy them because you can't keep them alive. I am sure someone here will give you and myself the lowdown on these guys.
Also welcome to the board! :D
I have had a red mangrove since October and it still hasn't put out a root or leaf. About to give up. Top is out of the water and I never move it. I thought I could grow one because I grow algae so well.
I don't feel bad or worry about stepping on ants. I mean I don't look out for them nor would I feel bad.
Throwing it down the garbage disposal would have been quick and convenient. Maybe even more humane.
I don't let the fleas live on my pets either. Unless of course they are on the kids.
Crap. Don't tell my 3 year coco worm that. I have had one act like yours and grow a new headdress (feather) after disposing of their old one as they adjust to the tank. However, I have two words for you. Oyster eggs!!! My baby cocos have grown so much better since I daily feed it to the tank.
I thought I read somewhere some time ago that brains have a great dislike for each other and will put out toxins to kill its neighbor.
But hey, I only had one brain (in the reef) and it died. Pretty sure it was suicide.
