    Bugaboy, I would think twice about adding a passer with your koran. Passers are very aggressive. They will kill just for the fun of it. If your koran is an aggressive fish you probibly will get a way with it. Good luck, Kevin

    Thanks for the reply Ben. At this point if I install it into my oak hood it would be about 7 inches above the water. My other thought was when it heats the water, will it keep it between 80 to 85 degrees. This way I wouldn't need a heater. Any thoughts?

    Thanks for the reply mountainbiker619, To answer your questions No I do not have a hospital tank. I am feed garlic soaked food. The fish is a Achilles Tang and it is feeding fine. It just gets picked on a lot. Which is why I belive it has ICK. My onher two tangs have slight ick problems...

    I do have a cap on my drain. The cap has a air tube in the middle to adjust water flow. My problem is the noise it makes no matter were I ajust it. With out the value I would hear water gushing all the time. By the way can someone explain the differance between gate and ball vaules? -Kevin
