Is this a Hydnophora rigida? or which Hydnophora?
We were told it was a staghorn by the LFS, but research says it is not. Just can not pin point which H. it is...
Thank you,
Andrea
For our reef tank. Is it best to remove the bio balls from the wet/dry and just have water in there? Do we leave the filters in there? We have plenty of live rock..
What do you suggest?
Thank you,
Andrea
Okay, we just established an aggressive fish tank.
Specs 90 Gallon
75 wet/dry sealife
2500 flow pump
800 rio water jet have two using one for salt water production and one for new tank
Regular 48" light.
140 lbs of live sand. Wanted deep sandbed
40 lbs of crushed coral.
No built in flow...
Moved a rock today and found this beauty where there was little light. Mostly shaded. It is very pretty. It is light orange. Pretty translucent and open in the middle. Looks bubbly, soft and circular.
What can it be???
Thank you,
Andrea
This is our LR set-up. This will be a reef tank. Do you think we need to change the arrangement of the rocks or will the inhabitants be happy with it? There are lots of ledges...We do have the jets going through the rocks and the fish we have seem to really like all the nooks and crannies...
1. The dark maroon thing with the slit in it.
2. The white thing on the underside of the rock with the spiked arms.
3. The white bubble next to the maroon thing
Thank you,
Andrea

I have been doing much research, my eyes are tired, so I thought I would get your imput. As you identify, would you please tell me the best way to handle these finds. Good, bad, leave alone, get it out.....

Hello everyone.. Newbie here...With a perplexing questions!
We just bought a 90 gallon tank. A dream for us... We live in south florida where it gets hot and muggy. We keep our tank out of direct sunlight, and the room we keep the tank is air conditioned with a fan. We set the tank up two days...
