After all we have learned about growth, feeding and coral maladies, I thought I'd share a couple of successes I have had with Trachyphyllia geoffroyi.
I found these amongst some "2nd hand" live rock at my usual LFS. As they were "live rock", they sold them to me as such - $10.95/kg. They didn't weigh enough to move the scales so I got them for free.
The first one was mildly damaged and has made a good recovery. The second one was severely damaged and has now nearly fully recovered.

They get a good amount of light, but most importantly I have been feeding them every couple of days.
