Gonochoric spawners vrs Hermaphroditic spawners

Eric could you please clarify,
What are the majority of species?
Are they simultaneous hermaphrodities or
are they Gonochoric spawners?
I think I am misinterpreting what I'm reading.

Yes, I need you to clarify as the chat is not up yet.
I thought we discussed that gonochoric spawners were the majority but when I read Ricmond(pge 178), he suggests "the rich majority of corals studied so far are simultaneous hermaphrodites". Maybe I have got things muddled up.

Well, that is correct. About 3/4 of species spawn sperm and eggs. Always helps to go look something up, doesn't it?
