Hey folks,
Maybe you can help me out here. I haven't found this in any literature. One of my Turbinaria Peltata developed blisters on the coenosarc. It eventually "popped" and left the coenosteum exposed. The exposed area has not gotten any larger since and the coral appears to be doing fine. Any reason why it would do this? TIA

Sounds intersting. Can you send a picture. Anything chewing on the coral? I have seen similar things in Pavona and Psammacora, but not in Turbinaria.
