A picture paints a thousand words...

While looking through the keys (and genus and species descriptions) there are many elements that are used and described, but it is not always clear what they really look like. Is there some site or book that would include pictures of elements such as:
* pailform lobes
* pitting in costa
* tentacular lobes
* perforated and/or porous skeleton
* leafy septa?

I have pixtures of paliform lobes...getting the others in a few minutes after I take a shower..I stink.

I just sent James 5 pictures:

2 of paliform lobes
1 of leafy septa
1 of porous skeleton
1 of pitted skeleton (where pits are in the costae)
Now, i am missing tentacular lobes..where did you see this?

Eric,
Tentacular lobes are mentioned in Veron (2000) and are (at least) a characteristic used in identifying Fungia spp.. Fungia repanda doesn't have them but they may be present for Fungia scabra.
