Eric, I'm having trouble defining some of the terms used to classify corallites.
What do we clssify as a well spaced corallite, i.e. what is the measurement used-I presume 2-3mm. Also what is rarely superficial?

Tehlia, well-spaced can't have a measurement as it depends on the sze of the corallites. For example, many Montiopora are well spaced, but the same relaivespacing on an Oxypora or a Turbinaria may be much further because ofthe scale. If the walls are immediately adjacent to eachother, and separated by some coenosteum, I'd call that well-spaced.

Where do you see "rarely superficial"?
