We have decided to go with a slow unannounced launch of the new auction system that some of you may have heard about.

Alas, some people have already started posting auctions for livestock.

A formal announcement will be coming for the rest of the board in a few weeks.

We're trying to get a few remaining minor bugs out of the system, so please let me know if there are any issues.

I hope people find this to be a useful addition and that it helps improve the local transactions.

Great idea on launching the auction feature of this site - I know it cost a good penny, so I donated a little from my paypal "slush" fund to help out - hope it helps.

Anyone else? this is a free forum and a little drop in the bucket here and there is nice.

Just an FYI to the admins... I wanted to try the new auction system and have been unsuccessful. It keeps telling me I can't do anything because of $-0.00 balance, even though my account shows $0.00 and no fee is currently required.
