hey..well, here is what is going on. I'm an out of state student, I was forced to take my reef down when I left for school, but now I'm starting to build a new tank.

However...seeing as how a college student's finances go mainly to tuition and food, I only managed to have enough left to spend on simply setting the tank up! I have nothing left to set up corals. I was hoping that once everyone sees my reef, they would start to take interest in it, and I might start a reef club.

Not too many people are into this kinda thing, but that's only because we all know they don't know anything about it. Thanks to my college's atmosphere, everyone's gonna be asking about it...I just need that extra push to get there. Anyone willin to help?

In my second semester as a freshman I was in a lfs and bought a 55 for my dorm room. It was an aggressive fish and dead coral tank, that was in 87. I liked having the fish, but setting it up and breaking it down every year was not fun. are you going to have to do that with your reef?
you can keep checking the for sale and trade board, people are often giving away frags and things. what kind of coral do you want to keep, and what size tank do you have?
also welcome to Manhattan Reefs!
