I have some miscellaneous monti digi frags. One or 2 is orange, some is green and maybe a purple one as well. If you can come by tom they are your's , free of charge. I will warn you though that i have red bugs, don't know if it affects monti's or not, but if you pretreat you will be ok. I rather help a reefer out then throw them away. Let me know.

What you need to use is called interceptor. It's a prescription pill used for dogs. I might be able to pretreat the water for you.

Rich i got my hands on them, Thanks. I bought them from someone, now it's just a matter of when. I'm trying to hold on as much as possible. The fact that i will lose my shrimp and crabs has me a bit concerned. I know there's no way around it.

On a side note, what do you think if i just treat individual colonies in the meantime. Just to reduce the stress a bit until the big dose. At least there will be less. Any idea if they affect monti's as well?

I was told red bugs don't bother digis at all. Not sure if it's true. Anymore orange digis available?

Pedro, I had red bugs all over my digis and caps....Over the next week try to scoop as many crabs out as possible and then treat the tank. It's no big deal. I did it and it was like nothing had happened (with the exception of no red bugs)

The only thing is that if you remove the crabs, there is a chance that you might re-introduce it again when you put them back. All you need is a few to be on them. I will treat, no doubt, but i need to mentally prepare myself, lol.

I have 2 cleaners, 2 pepermints and a coral banded (smaller one) and I treated for the bugs and they all lived - crabs, however, all died

Thanks for the frags Pedro. I checked them for red bugs w/ a magnifying glass and didn't really see anything. I still cured them before I placed them in the tank though. Thanks again.
