What I found is that you can order a lot of these large container online for fairly cheap but the shipping cost is murder.

Exactly and the guy has to make some kind of profit on this. For example, I can buy the 50 vertical for $100 from the manufacturer if I lived in Minnesota. Otherwise, they can deliver it to me for $200 at a total cost of $300 lol.

I think he sells the 50's for $150 which is reasonable. He would drill it and sell you the fittings if you want.

Have you considered what the sun and un-natural UV rays does to these plastics? not to mention acid rain and other elements?



I was able to find a container with shipping to me at a very reasonable cost from flea-bay merchant that I verified came from a covered storage facility.
