live sand

bought a NC24 from someone and they threw in their live sand. I dont need it as I will be using new live sand for my system. if anyone wants it let me know. I have two small buckets full about 20-30 lbs. it looks like clean white bahamas sand. post here and ill give you my address, ill leave it outside on the porch for your pick up.

guys please becareful with using the old live sand... its not a real good thing when sand in an established system is mixed together..

if you are to use make sure u clean it very well...

:biggrin: hmmm, That why I saw the house lights off. I assumed no one was home. The sand wasn't that hard to rinse out, I've dumped it into a 5 gal bucket and filled the bucket up with water twice. and all cleared up. I'll let it sit for a day in a new batch of saltwater. Thanks again.
