Up for sale 2 Croceas. First is a gold one, about 3-3.5''; $55. The second is blue/green about 4-4.5''. I'm selling him for $30 because I'm not certain of his health and perhaps someone will nurse him back to full strength. He used to gape quite a bit and I did that almost-fresh-water dip. He's gaping a lot less now, but still a little bit. The first pic of him now; and the second one is of him before.

The blue/green Clam is pending a sale. The gold is still available. How do you think an RBTA would do under T5s?? One reason I'm getting rid of the clams is that since I switched to T5s they've been stretching their mantles up for more light - and they're as high up as they can go in my tank. Do you think a RBTA would do any better???

The leather is also a possibility...

Actually, this makes me wonder: the smaller of the clams (the gold) is the one that's not opening wide and seems to stretch its mantle: is it because he's not getting enough light or too much? The larger clam is wide open, but probably needs more light than the smaller one...

The pic of the gold is from when I still had MHs. He doesn't spread his mantle like that anymore. :headache: And stays kinda closed. So perhaps he's getting too much light...

I did the fresh-water dip of the blue/green one after posting a pic on this site and a few people said I had to do the dip.

I switched from MHs. The flow around the clams is moderate. The pic of the gold clam is under MHs. The blue/green is under full T5s. The gold does not open like that since the switch. And the two are next to one another.
