glass aquariums

my acyrlic is scratched beyond NOVUS i am thinking about glass but cannot find a 60x24x24 to fit my stand and hood most are 48 or72 anybody put a 72 on a 60 stand with or without adding support your thoughts or past experiences would be appreciated thanks ed

I have no experience trying to put a 72" tank on a 60" stand, nor do I intend to get any.

FWIW, Oceanic makes a 60" X 24" X 24" tank (150 gallons), although it may be special order. Of course a custom tank builder could do it too, and some are very reasonably priced (glasscages.com has one for $345 + shipping for example).

thank Chris, that 340gal. is close to what i am looking for. Actuallyi would like to find a tank 15'x2'x2'. Why, because i think the distant will help territorial fish get along. (ex. 2 or 3 dottybacks ) But i can work with 11'

YOU COULD contact www.glasscages.com they make custom shapes for a pretty decent price from what I understand.
